With mere days away from the release of the biggest game EVER on the PS3, we're hit with a bombshell.

Apparenly, there are some quotes from the Qu'ran in the soundtrack to the game, and some Muslim gamers have picked up on this. As apparently putting their holy words into music is considered bad and wrong, Sony and Media Molecule have not only got a patch and a new master disc ready, but they're also recalling the games from suppliers and putting back the release date.

A new PlayStation Blog post tells us that the game will now ship the week of October 27th in America. UK site Electronic Theatre has obtained an updated mailout which shows the UK release date as October 31st. Funnily enough this is the game's original release date in the region, before it got pulled forward a week.
