South Park moreso than Family Guy takes current affairs events and really very well parodies the fuck out of them, sometimes so cleverly that it borders on controversial. The Miley Cyrus "thing" is a perfect example, with the episode where Ike reaches puberty at like 3 and starts trying to "tame the strange" of one of the fucking Teletubbie or something. South Park has become vastly relevant in the last few years, but Family Guy is just fucking hilarious.

Fucking kiosks, how do they work?

Hey, Michael Bay, stop relying on prompters and RESEARCH YOUR SHIT.

"The SteamBox is taking the PC and bringing it to the living room." So it's a laptop then?

OBAMACARE!

You guys sound crazy as shit saying "knickers".

Whiny nerds on the internet? THOU LIEST!

Fucking ice wrestling. LMFAO.

Fucking DJ Atomica... hated him so much. But yeah, he chips in every now and then to tell you what's opened up and shit. Also, Big Surf Island was the single best DLC ever of last gen. Fuck me, love it HARD MODE. The only PS3 game I own that I still have from when I bought it back on March 31st 2008. Trufax.

I love how you guys are talking about region locking when you weren't around in the 80s and 90s... fuck me, you guys have it so happy now in comparison...

Waka's British accent is fucking amazing. I demand a whole episode with that shit. DEMAND. IT.

Excellent second show, guys.

omfg totally forgot to mention the front page - yeah seriously thanks so much Blokey, that's awesome :')

And I've got a whole repertoire of British accents just waiting to be awoken—Sheffield, Lancaster, Kent, every variation and strand of London, Glasgow, Dundee... the list goes on my friend ;)

I'll listen when I'm not drunk and can remember what happens.

Drunk HGW services are offered for any segment where you need a drunk asshole to spew random weeaboo shit.

Steam machines are all overpriced, and just completely unnecessary hardware. As far as I'm concered, there really is no valid reason to buy one over a PC loaded with Steam, or dual booted with SteamOS. I also find it interesting the comments regarding the controller. Not only is it one of the worst designs I've ever personally seen, I've heard quite differently regarding the feedback. I've heard that while it's responsive enough, the sensitivity has been a major problem when trying to play games that require accurate movements. That analogs would be far better than what they've chosen to do. I don't really use Steam that much personally so it'll be a while before I try the Steam controller, but my expectations could not possibly be any lower.

Also, Nintendo's network is shit... this is a recording. FWIW though, as much as the Nintendo Network sucks, I do not care for Streetpass at all and limiting the amount of the space it can take from your device makes a ton of sense to me.

It's ironic that you'd call hockey basically ice wrestling at this point in time, because I'd wager the frequency of staged fighting in the sport is probably reaching an all time low.

Somehow I'm not even excited for Super Smash Bros anymore. The Wii version was kinda shit anyway.

You won't find a person more interested, excited about the Tegra K1 than myself, but it's still waaay behind desktop processing. I also don't think Nintendo needs to worry yet. Nintendo's first party franchises will keep them relevant for basically as long as they want.

TV Tuners work like shit for the most part at least IMO.

Thanks for listening, Sypher :) I always look forward to hearing from you despite us most likely being borderline irritating with our constant discussion of stuff we don't know much about such as icewrestlinghockey. :p

I'm reading a little more about the K1 and the hype is growing on me as well—I guess this was bound to happen when you take a look at the bigger picture with desktop-range processing—again I don't know much about this but there definitely seems to be a roadblock when it comes to single-threaded speeds now, so it only seems natural that there might be a partial shift towards focusing on getting mobile stuff on par with PC-era.

I guess the reason I brought up the Nintendo handheld 'debate' was due to coming across some seriously uninformed stuff about how Nintendo should consider moving their stuff over to iOS and give up on hardware manufacturing as well. There's no denying that smartphones were a huge kick in the nuts to dedicated handheld gaming but I completely agree with you—as long as the first-party stuff is there there's no real reason for concern. Whether that in itself is a good thing is a different question, though, IMO...

This is why the ECHL exists.

Also, if I hear anymore shit being talked about Far Cry 3, I will cut someone.

Wait, there's a heartbeat app? Did Apple steal Nintendo's Vitality Sensor?

Haaaaa, choke-luts. Almost dirty.

lol. nah, I just enjoy listening. You guys are far more informed than most of the people I regularly converse with.

The big shift I'm expecting in desktop processors is moving moreso towards the 3D transistor designs. I'm not sure if they are actually implemented in any range of Intel processors on the market yet. Ivy Bride may use it.

There is nothing I'd like more than Nintendo bow out of the hardware business and just develop for other systems. I don't care for mobile gaming personally, in the sense of devices like tablets and smartphones however, so I'd hope they would divert their attention to one or both of their competitor consoles in that scenario. (and yes Joey both... SteamBoxes are not consoles)
