Game name: I Ninja

Players: 1

Age rating: 7+ (PEGI)

Platforms: PS2 (Version Played) PC

Review:
You are Ninja, and it is up to you and your Sensai to wipe out the Ranx Army, led by the nefarious O-Dor.
I Ninja is an criminally ignored platformer that was released by Namco in 2003.The story is played for laughs but that doesn't mean it's a walk in the dojo. Thankfully. it's no Ninja Gaiden either. It plays like a dream despite the seemingly haphazard stylee Ninja himself, the controls are never less than responsive and each attack & combofeels weighty and dangerous. It looks like a Saturday morning cartoon you wish they had made, full of bright vibrant colours and exotic locations for our hero to get medieval in. The sounds are adequte with the usual Jackie Chan / Bruce Lee type thwacks and whoops and the music is fun but not particularly memorable.

All in all a hugely underated game that you should snap up if you find it. It's fast frantic and never less than fun, the challenges ramp up nicely and it always feels fair even at it's most aggressive.

This is just one of the very many PS2 games I bought but never beat. But while I never beat it, I did enjoy what I played of it. Loved the design of it all.

One very many games I have bought and did actually beat. Maybe because it had the option to play it on piss weak. Or I may actually have been awesome at the game.
