You have to make a choice. I would choose Halo, only because of Halo Wars. It's not cheating, it's part of the Halo universe damnit!

Shit, I wasn't even thinking of Halo Wars. Another point in Halo's favor.

Although, if I'm being completely fair, I have to say it's not really fair to compare Halo and CoD, considering how different they are.

Going to say COD cause while I liked the Halo games (especially the campaigns) COD4's campaign is so far ahead of the Halo campaigns (barring Reach...still haven't) played) it swings me in COD's favour. MW2 and Blops campaigns were not so hot but COD4 was just too good.

I still remember COD4's campaign. I don't really care to remember Halo's.
