Depends how rich I am when I "grow up". If I'm making good money, conservative all the way. Lower taxes, fuck the poor over the lazy layabouts (Thats conservative policy right? I don't really know) Pisses me off how the poor kids get rewarded at university with grants and bursaries and the middle classes get bummed over. Your dads a lazy fat bastard that dropped out of school and has been a truck driver all his life have 2 grand each year of university and don't worry about paying it back. GOD DAM |

^ But think about those kids who don't really have shit to their name but are smart as hell. I got a friend who right now has money, can't get a job, his family screwed him over and is left with no other options but to join the military. He is pretty smart to boot and is looking to become a psychologist. I think some people deserve some free money if they go to school. Rich kids get grants too you know, even if mommy and daddy can pay for it. |

Yeah, I was gonna say, the ones with the shitty lazy parents are usually the ones who really wanna make a difference, but are hampered by their parents beering up all their college money. I totally agree with you guys, but he has a point. It's no good to hand out grants to those that have nothing when you're ignoring those who can at least do something themselves toward their education. I don't know about anywhere outside North Carolina, but here the schools (and the idiot bureaucrats in charge of them in Raleigh) have been looking for things to cut like a fat kid looks for cake. |
