I think I missed the boat on reminiscing about Judge Dread beating Batman.

As much as I love batman (3rd favourite comic book character) everyone knows that he can't beat superman any time he fights other than in frank millars novels he's just stalling him.

He only "won" in hush because they were in metropolis and he used louis lane as leverage.

Though speaking seriously(well, sorta), Thor's biggest weakness is writers. They seem to either forget or not care about all that Asguardian magic and stuff. Seriously, the dude can stop time, but he never goddam does. Also, I'm not really hip and up to date with the new commics(havem't even read the civil war) but when was the last time Thor unleashed the God Force?

It's seriously hard to judge anyone's power in marvel because the variation between writers is crazy. I still think World War Hulk was a huge, crazy Hulk fanwank(I may be baised though, since I hate the Hulk). To say nothing of when Wolverine had his own series. Or some of the things they've done with Spiderman over the years.

There was a miniseries where Gambit got a crazy powerboost that let him charge organic compounds...and turn into energy...and control time...basicly super crazy omega level mutant crazy.

Very good odds prof. X could beat Superman, as he has been shown many, many times to e supseptible to mental attacks, one of his many weaknesses.

Also, Squirel girl. That is all.

Thor went against Odin's will and became mortal. That's why he doesn't have omnipotent cosmic power (wish I could actually remember that Robin Williams line in Aladdin). And why would Thor need to kill trees? It's not like there any Ents in Marvel that serve the forces of darkness.

Not argue the blatant discrepancies, or Prof X beating Superman. I think you could count the people that Prof X couldn't beat on one hand.

I find it hard to discredit anything they do with Wolverine. They started him out with a super-crazy regenerative ability and gave him an unbreakable adamantium skeleton. What the fuck CAN'T he do?

And I don't think there's any lack of Powergirl fans here. It's just that we're not worthy.
