Yay, nay, I don't give a fuck?

I'll post my wall of text(and possibly Shuki's, which will likely look similar to mine) after I get a post or two.

It depends on what you're talking about here. If you're talking about pot then Yay. Pot has been proven to have less of an effect on the body than Alcohol and Smoking. No harm, beside the occasional retard who does something whilst high, has ever really come out of smoking pot.
Now if you're talking Crack, or like Heroine or something fucking nuts like that, then Nay.

Overall, pot's nice faggot.
YAY

Absolutely yay. There is nothing wrong with marijuana, let's you relax, look at things in ways you've never looked at them before. For me personally, I smoke whenever I need to get a project done or study, there's about pot makes me productive as all hell.

I will honestly be dissappointed in America if marijuana is not legalized in the next ten years.

Also, if they were to legalize Pot, they could tax it. It would stimulate this shit-hole they call an economey. But best of all, everyone would be chill as fuck. :)

I know everyone always thinks when people say this their full of crap, but he's absolutely right. I was watching a documentary on MSNBC a few months ago and as most of us know pot is practically legalized in the state of California and the number they gave the California gained in revenue was absolutely mind blowing. I'm not saying we wouldn't be in a recession if pot was legalized but it would most definitely be another source of revenue.

[insert finger-cracking noises here]

Anything at all that edits how a person acts, how they behave, how they think, is a very big no-no in my opinion. It can(not does) ruin lives. I've seen this happen myself. It destroys a person's opinion of someone if they have to rely on mind-altering substances to, "relax."

That's not even really a valid excuse, if you want to relax, turn off the lights, light yourself a candle, and take a hot bath.
Or meditate.
Or read.
Or jack-off.

There are a million ways to relax without changing your personality, and it's simply a sign of weakness to walk down the more, "fun," path with such a pitiful excuse.

It's especially bad when someone close to me does something like that. I make friends with the original personality, not some giggly light-headed hyperactive person.

I'm just rather anti-420. I have a bunch of reasons, most of which I can't put into words or text.

...Your sole reason was "lol economuy."

Which is another cop-out on the most part, your typical stoner could give two fucks about the economy.

So uh.

A single cannabis joint could damage the lungs as much as smoking up to five tobacco cigarettes one after another, scientists in New Zealand have said.
The research, published in the journal Thorax, found cannabis damaged the large airways in the lungs causing symptoms such as coughing and wheezing.

It also damaged the ability of the lungs to get oxygen to, and remove waste products from tissues.

The holes in Samantha Wilson's lungs are getting bigger.
There is no cure for her illness and if it continues to get worse it will eventually kill her.

Samantha is 37 and has emphysema, a progressive condition normally associated with older people who have smoked tobacco regularly throughout their lives.

Samantha's doctor, Dr Onn Min Kon, a consultant physician of respiratory medicine at St Mary's Hospital in London, believes her cannabis smoking may be to blame for her condition.

Dr Kon said he had several other young patients who smoke cannabis and have lung diseases normally seen only in older tobacco smokers.

He said: "I've got a collection of young people who have lungs that look like they're 65-year-olds."

I'm going to have to disagree.

That's quite all right and when I said there's nothing wrong with marijuana I didn't mean it in a medical sense I meant if cigarettes are legal there's no reason marijuana shouldn't be too.

oh, alright.
I could argue that being five times worse is a fair reason, but I cba.

I'm sure there are studies out there that say marijuana is healthier than smoking a cigarette, who can you really trust?

And Caleb, idk what the fudge your talking about "the typical stoner doesn't care about the economy" statement, you need to stop watching Cheech and Chong and basing your knowledge off that and realize that some of the most important big whigs in the world are probably rolling a J.

Never seen C&C, basing my statements off of stoners that I personally know of.

I don't have a problem with people smoking pot, I just don't do it myself. Also, pot does have negative side effects contrary to what some believe. I've met a couple of guys who have smoked themselves into oblivion, and can barely do anything intelligent anymore.

However, the addictive stuff like crack and meth is extremely harmful to your body, and I don't want it around me.
