I think the google chrome os will be exceptional, I plan to buy a netbook whenever it comes out.

From my experience, macs are for those show off posers who like to think they're quirky and original.

I like the ipod touch, however like all apple products its stupidly expensive.

Sooo...

What is up with Mac OSX Snow Leopard? Should I go for the upgrade or just wait? I am running Leopard right now.

Well, if you're using a Mac you probably don't care much for gaming on PC so you could always get Ubuntu. It's free and extremely easy to use.

I been looking into getting Ubuntu, though I am not too sure about it just yet. What exactly can you do with it? (I am a Linux noob)

Well pretty much, I don't know what Ubuntu does that would be in my benefit. Seems that I would just use OSX for everything that linux might do.

Well yeah, basically.
Windows is easy to use, but easy to take advantage of.
Linux is fast, but has way more compatibility issues than you'd see with OSX.
OSX is kinda in-between, from what I've seen.

It just depends on your taste.

IMO, Windows is by far the hardest to use operating system to use... My teacher at university agrees btw and the the computer faculty (where I study) uses debian =)

One line to install a program, one click to update all programs at once, no anti-virus app needed, etc.. I can't see how it's not easier. It's also much much easier to install.

Oh God, agreed hard. To install Windows(XP, at least), you have to sort through a dozen or so menus before it even starts the install. Linux is just all "yo you wanna install me?" and I'm like "fuck yeah i do" and then Linux is like "k. go chat on Pidgin while i install."

It's quite straightforward.

Wow, I really want to install Linux now.

I still get haunting memories of when I used to repair computers.....
