are completely asinine.

To start, Id like to point out that Apple took the first stabs at Microsoft with the whole Mac vs PC argument (if it could even be called that, it seems more like PC bashing). They haven't stopped, either. Now, It took one or two years for Microsoft to stab back with their shopping commercials that deem Mac computers to be rather expensive for the hardware given. Not a single person can deny that that is true.

Now I don't know what the sales figures for Vista are, but I do know that Mac sales were higher that they had ever been at the beginning of 2008. No doubt this is because of media buzzing about issues with Vista, causing slow performance and virus problems in the case of those without common sense or antivirus protection (or both).

If Apple is to continue to compete for the market, they'll have to stop acting like a 12 year old bashing Microsoft's current OS. With Windows 7, everything Apple has been able to come up with is practically thrown out the window. There is no performance issues. Installing drivers is done by the OS, so those upgrading won't see any problems. Windows 7 has increased security with far less nagging, so anyone with common sense won't end up with any malware.

As a closing statement, I'd like to mention what Apple said at WWDC today.

Quote:
Doing the honors was Bertrand Serlet, who took the stage by saying "what a sharp contrast with Vista our OS is," and only got rolling from there, pointing out "what a big hole Microsoft has dug," and adding that "they're trying to get out of it with Windows 7." Of course, Serlet didn't have many good things to say about Windows 7 either, which he says has "even more complexity" than Vista because it's just based on the "same old tech as Vista."

That's like saying "Im gonna kick your ass" to a man holding a gun.

Apple, I hope your OS rots.

They do come off as quite cocky.

I think it can only better the industry though. Maybe not marketing-wise, but hopefully it will push Microsoft to improve their products and then Apple in turn. We can only hope.

Apple has always been an ass, but their Microsoft bashing is usually quite hilarious  It's done with such finesse, and MS are always unable to counter. But when you really look at it, their version often falls apart. And I hate some things they're doing, like Windows = PC. A Mac is a fucking PC, dumbasses.

This started to read as the standard Seb giving Steve Jobs a blowjob.
but then just as Steve climaxed, Seb took a bite. (last statement.)

Bittersweet would worryingly be from your perspective... Making Steve's jobs bitter, but his blood sweet.

You know Microsoft and apple bashes are like how the US politics and media is. Apple is the democrats and Microsoft are the republicans. The democrats still bash the republicans about Bush when Obama does something wrong and they keep blaming them for Bush. Bush is out of office! He has done nothing wrong and it is not his fault. When Bush was president the economy was not failing. Not until the end of his 8 year term did it start. Anyway, that's what I think how MS VS Apple is like. In the end the republicans know what they are doing just like Microsoft. Microsoft is a better choice. ( for those who know I want a Mac it is because you can not use their goddamn OS on another PC unless you us hackintosh witch does not work for my PC.)

You have the logic of a 10 year old.

In case you haven't noticed, Microsoft has been pretty clueless lately. They keep doing all kinds of random projects and fail to capture new markets (zune? bing? table thingy? silverlight?). Apple, on the other hand, knows exactly where it's going and where they want to go. They expand slowly but surely, using very specific strategies. Their whole organization is remarkably consistent. Speaking business strategy strictly, of course.
