DC was the treasure for all fighting game fags. But PS2 had awesome games too.

Gamecube was great, but lack of online really hurt.

Xbox was good too, but its horrible controller really set it back. Sure the smaller controller fixed it, but boo I had to pay for it. I had to stick with the fat ones.

I liked the big controllers, found them very comfortable.

IMO:

Dreamcast: dunno, really, but it flopped and doesn't seem to have a lot of games
PS2: everyone loves it, but doesnt have many games that appeal to me. strangely it's the same with PS and PS3 too... I have two PS1s and a PS2 and almost never played them at all.
Xbox: kinda like PS2 but better hardware.
GameCube: by far the most good games imo, contrary to common opinion, I guess. Good controller too.

Gamecube: loved the controller, despite the C Nipple, as affectionally called it, games managed to keep me occupied for years, there wasn't a PS2 in my house untill early 2006, and even then, I barely touched it.

PS2, no doubt. The only thing the xbox had going was halo 2, and the GC had smash bros.

PS2. Loved my GC to death and played it into this gen until I got my Wii. But the PS2 had even more games that I liked, so that gets my vote.

I love how the original Ecksbawks is getting no love. Rather appropriate for an ugly heap, I'd say.

PS2 and DC are my faves, Xbox 2nd, and GC last.

The original Xbox meant I could play Fable, Halo (the original, it was alright actually), Street Fighter III Third Strike, and a myriad of other awesome Xbox-only games.

But I'm far too big a fighting game fan and RPG nut, so PS2/DC joint first.

Yeah, but you could play Halo on the PC. I'll actually give you Fable, but other than that, meh, PS2 and GC exclusives were better.
