Part 1: Is it real?

Part 2: Is it something we contribute to or would it happen anyways?

Real? Yes.

Are humans contributing to it as much as they'd like you to believe? No.

I'll go rootin' around through all the different studies in a bit.

^ That's pretty much my answer, but he can back it up with studies, whereas I'll just say that global warming is inevitable as the life on earth slowly eats away at the atmosphere, but still quick enough to destroy more than it can repair.

I'm sure it's real but I think it has been exaggerated to epic proportions.

A friend of mine who studied Geography at uni (can't remember the exact course title but it was Geographical...) told me that the temperature of the world varies all the time. Apparently the temperature can rise and fall over the course of decades and centuries.

Also it tends to rise sharply just before an Ice Age and we are, apparently, overdue one.

Also, apparently cows - which produce unbelievable amounts of methane each day - are the biggest contributors. Some say we should all stop eating beef. I say I'd rather keep my steak and let the world burn...

I say yes and yes.

Would global warming happen without our involvement, probably. I do think we are significantly helping it along at a much faster pace. Of course, this is all just my opinion. I mean, if the scientists can't come to a unified conclusion how are we supposed to?

While it is true the temperature rises and falls on its own I don't think it usually changes this fast.

1) Yes
2) Yes, though probably not as much as some say.

Yes. I dunno why so many people doubt it. All leading scientists agree global warming is real.

Not all. That's the reason so many people doubt it is that some scientists say it doesn't exist.

P1. Yes

P2. Yes

The real question: do I care? Not one bit.

It's the just the way that the world has evolved, we have so many worries (that we indeed created) that we forget about the bigger ones that we will not think about in the future. As a race we're selfish, and I don't believe there is one selfless act in the entire world, not ever. Everyone has their own motives for doing something.

We're a parasitic race and will continue to destroy our planet until it really kicks in how much closer we are to killing ourselves. Our lives are so short that we're probably not going to care what happenes in future generations anyway, hence "I don't care about global warming, eat stake" etc. It's natural that we think like this, although I personally would like to see some changes made, but I think there's no chance at all that any of this will happen.

Firstly, it is correct that cattle and animals bred for meat do indeed contribute to an unbelievable amount of methane gas that destroys the o-zone. These are supposed to be wild and in much less numbers, but since human's started to eat meat it's turned into numbers which can't be reversed. Unless we all stop eating meat these numbers will not be reversed, and because we're such stubborn bastards and refuse to stop eating something because of a taste that lasts a few second in our mouth, things aren't gonna change. I sound real pro-veggie now, but I'm not, I'm just pointing out facts.

One more think I thought about was the fact that, aparrently, in not many years from now, we're going to run our of un-renewable fuels, and this is supposedly the biggest contribution to the greehouse effect. But if we'll be running out soon then, what on earth is going to happen after that? If there's no more fuel to burn surely that must have a great effect on how much gas we'll be producing. If I was the govornment, I'd deffo start building up a reliable amount of renewable energy supplies (wind and solar etc).

I say we take a leaf out of Norway's book. They're very strict on how many trees they take down and nearly always plant another in return, which is why it's still such a beautiful, serene country. Aside from Oslo you can even just go out and hunt your own Moose if you like, rather than having to go to the supermarket (Mini pric) and getting one that's been farmed. I seriosuly would love to go live in Norway, but i don't think my arthritis could deal with the winters....

That's my two-penneth anyway.

It's spelled N-U-C-L-E-A-R. It's the past, present and future of energy production.

As for cars, hydrogen.

(to humanity) Stop burning oil FFS, we need it to make plastic, you fucktards. It's like burning your furniture when you've got wood just because you're lazy to go out in the garage to get it >_>
