Okay, so I've been asking the same question for many many years now. I don't think its going to be answered anytime soon, but with so many of you living in the States, I wonder if you can shed some light on the question.

Why the FUCK is Osama Bin Laden still on the run, with no apparent mission to capture him, after mass murdering over 3000 people.... when Saddam Hussein - a man who did nothing to America, who ran a country whose people had not previously killed an American citizen before the invasion, and who hated the Taliba regime and Bin Laden as much as the Americans did - was the focus of a multi-billion dollar manhunt and an illegal invasion, was hunted down, captured, put on trial, and eventually hung?

But most importantly, what is being done to capture Bin Laden now?

What concerns me is that there is a LOT of evidence that points to Bin Laden being dead well before September 11th 2001, which would kind of piss on the chips of Bush's government, not to mention raise further questions about what actually happened on 9/11 (or 11/9 if you're in the rest of the world), but that's for another thread.

So what IS being done about this invisible pensioner in a cave in Afghanistan? Or has America, now that its got its hands on the oilfields of Iraq, got what it wanted and has forgotten about Mr Beardy Murderer?

Please note: This is not a "Who really did 9/11" thread. I just want to know whats being done about Bin Laden. If you want to debate this, start a new thread, ktnxbai.

Perhaps because they already imprisoned him but don't want to announce it, fearing a wave of revenge terrorist actions?

I'm of the mind that the guy simply wasn't involved.

Ah, I remember this one at P-N. As of late, there's much more news on the attacks on Pakistani mountain locations along the border. Afghan and Pakistani attack news has become much more prevalent in the media since things seem to be slowly but surely handed over to the Iraqi government and focus is shifted back to the original war (including finding the location of Bin Laden).

Not gonna support or deny any of the conspiracy theories, just saying that's what's been in the news, so yes, it's being brought back into focus, and Obama seems to plan to back that movement.

^"Ever" would be the correct term if the military has any standards anymore. I've already written off the government in regards to standards 'cause...well, you know.

Personally, I do think bin Laden is still around, but he also doesn't have the resources for anything like 9/11 anymore. That's why I don't think he's much of a priority anymore. They are still hunting for him, but with all the evidence pointing to his hiding out in Pakistan, we can't do as much as we'd like.
