I do not believe in God.

The Bible was written by rich and powerful men, in a time of superstition, tyranny, and misogyny.

The better kept and more corroborated histories of other civilisations disagrees with Christian 'history' on many points (for instance there is no proof that any slaves were employed to build pyramids -- Egyptian history says these were farmers who worked as labourers during flood season, when there was very little farming they could do).

Jesus died 2000 years before his story was written down (and now they think even that story was stolen from 2000 years previous to that.

Some Christians do themselves (and their faith) no favours by being irrational, illogical, incapable of reason, and incapable of accepting any evidence presented to them.

Having said all that, it's quite funny for me when I realise the following -- which could save Christians from having to argue this point EVER AGAIN.

If God exists, he knows everything and sees everything, right?
If God exists, he can create light, and oceans, and trees and stars, right?
If God exists, he can make human beings from dust, and mud, and ribs, right?

So if you think about it:
He could have created evolution.

Sure, there are elements of Christ's story that fit with other religions' messianic figures, but 1) You haven't proven that the Bible was written in the Middle Ages, 2) I'll assume that you made an error, because it's patently absurd to claim that the Bible was only written recently, and 3) there are several ancient historians (not including Josephus) that document Christ's existence, and this documentation exists outside of the Bible.
