Ok without offering too much by the way of spoilers, I'll try to explain. One of the Protagonists, Michael, is a gangster whose life is rapidly unravelling - I won't say how, and I won't say why, just play the game to see. This whole life sequence culminates in a drug scene which left me with my fucking jaw planted firmly on my floor. It's a side mission so it isn't going to spoil the main plot, but if you don't want anything at all spoiled, then back out now.

GTA V is simply more than just a game. It's fucking art, and one of the best examples in a long time. This is simply one of the best scenes I have ever witnessed in a video game. It's worthy of a major movie, and somewhat reminiscent of The Big Lebowski. I'm SO glad I am recording my game play so I got the privilege to capture it.

Maybe you'd have to play enough to understand, but to an outsider, it's the same "flying through technicolor surroundings" portrayal that everything in the past 20 years has portrayed a trip as.
I don't get what makes it so special.

I'll be honest, it was cool, that part, but I've seen more artistic portayals in games. Not to just try and trump your thread, Chris, but The Last of Us was more artistic than GTAV from start to finish.

Loved GTAV, though, through and through. The acting was great and it was very hollywood. Though I'm looking forward to the online mode more on Tuesday.
