3G Vita launch bundle $200, select PS3 Greatest Hits $15

Best Buy is offering the 3G vita and the wifi bundle for $200 each. Select titles from the PS3's Greatest Hits library are also available for $15 apiece.

There has been rumors going around saying that a new vita model will becoming out soon with a 6.5 inch screen and 1GB of RAM. If rumors are true and a new vita model comes out you can just wait for that.

That would be cool, but looking at the rumors, the resolution is staying the same, so there's no real point in going for that. If anything, that means I need to get a current Vita before it's dropped for the newer, more expensive model.

Just read the Vita price was officially dropped to $200 across the board at all locations.

That's still at least $30 too high for me to be tempted due to memory cards and all that jazz, but I'm hoping I'll find a better deal on it somewhere.

It'll be used mostly for weeaboo imports since... well, not a lot gets released here, does it?

Thanks for the heads up, but 4GB seems a bit slim considering my 4GB PSP memory is full, and most of that's just game saves/installs, nothing downloaded from PSN. As much as I love Telltale's The Walking Dead, I don't need another copy of Season 1.

Looks like Vita's gonna have to wait at least another year for me, since there's just so much other stuff that would get more use outta me. I'll keep my eye on imports that I'm interested in until then, and maybe something'll bump it up on the priority list.

Get 16 minimum, it'll be an investment.

Vita memory cards are unique to that machine which sucks huge ones.

But since there will be a price drop, I see a 32GB memory card being around $20 less than the current price.
