Chris G was playing his Morrigan/Akuma/Doom team. You know, the one where all you hear is SOUL FIST SOUL FIST SOUL FIST HIDDEN SOUL MISSILES FIST SOUL FIST SOUL FIST. Marlinpie then proceeded to battle his way through all the zoning and beat Chris G. Greatest Grand Finals Evar.

Competing in my first "big" major. I have gone to Wednesday Night Fights and tournaments at the local Japan Arcade, but now I am going to see if I can play with the champions. SoCal tournament, so you know shit is going down.

Anyone see the SF 25th Anniversary Grand Finals?

Infiltration proved that South Korea is best Korea. Mother fucker took home $50,000 AND a new car.

Makes me wonder what the hell I am doing in school trying to get a 9-5.

Remember that guy who I had a massive to-do with on these forums a few months ago? James? Arguing about Street Fighter?

Well he went to the London SF 25th Anniversary Tournament thingy in London the other week.

Didn't manage to make it anywhere, but on his first ever attempt at a major tournament in front of a massive crowd and the internet, with a camera in his face, he battled really well and even managed to get a super-cancel-ultra finish in the mix.

Hang on...

Jim's "IDontWannaBlock".

1h13m08s - DAT FINISH.

Now, regardless of what went down here, and what was said, dude got some serious skill.

You had an argument about Street Fighter? Why don't I remember this?

Anyhoo, that finish wasn't that impressive. Pretty easy to do since the super cancel allows for a giant buffer to do the ultra. Me, Guillen and others can probably pull that off any day of the week.

If anything, I was more impressed by the round before this one. He played the matchup well and did not allow Akuma for any space. Akuma has a certain range where his Demon Flips causes ambiguous setups where you don't know where to block. He rushed him down though.

Another thing that I do not like this game, the knock down game. But now I am getting too into it :P
