One thing that is stopping me from 7 is that damn message at the right side of the screen...pisses me off to no end.

Currently: (I gotta remove some damn games/demos from my PC...)

The other night when I was bored and wanted to "stress" my PC and see how it ran (1080p movie, Crysis windowed 1440x900, Zune software, bunch of stuff open in background, FireFox...):

Yeah, not really. Considering I was shooting at the time I took the screenshot, it blurs everything else and distorts vision.

That screen looks better than anything this thing will push out.

And lets not get me started on the two WinME machines elsewhere in the house....

Maybe you didn't read what I wrote.

I don't run AF in Crysis, much less AA.
I'd really love to see how your system runs it at 1920x1200

I don't have that big a screen but HL2 on this machine with everything on including AA and AF looks much better than that. And it's a two years old PC. And it's a laptop. I have no doubts your PC could achieve the same though, in which case Crysis is just a poorly optimized piece of crap which I wouldn't want to run...

EDIT: Actually, I've run Crysis and apart from running extremely slow even with everything on lowest, it didn't render right. So it's a really crappy engine, is all.

I think it was the whole "zomg your PC runs Crysis horribly, even though mine would shit a brick if I even tried inserting the disc" comment that warranted the facepalm, and I have to agree....

That's like me saying "Hahaha, you're running WinXP. Are stupid or something? BTW, I'm running WinME.", but not as retarded.
