So while E3 was going on. Apple had there own event. Here are some of the key things. iOS 7 the new Mac pro. which will be assembled in the good old USA! Mab book air with the new intel haswell CPU OS X Mavericks Apple dropped the name for cats to use California based names. That Mac Pro seems um... weird. They went from the tower to a cylinder. Idk what to think about that. I guess it is neat. Glad to see apple is still keeping the "desktop" in there line up of computers. The Mac Pro really needed a new design. |

I can't believe I'm saying this... ...that's bloody lovely. Incredibly interesting design, which just seems to work well. I mean, sure, ANY computer put together could go in this kind of case, and probably has before knowing Apple and their "patents", but I still like it. |

I like how the innovation is and how they are able to put that much power in that design. but it looks like an air purifier. Idk, right now it looks ugly but it will grow on me. |

It's lovely. Not for me but if I had a contemporary office then I'd enjoy having that with my other arty stuff. |

I've gotta hand it to them for this, I love the concept of a unified heat sync to minimize space. But why the fuck would anyone need a xeon in their mac and dual gpu's seriously you guys |

That's because they're so shit they don't do anything else, you have no option but to work on them. LOL no serious though, I loved working on the Mac for my Digital animation/design a-levels at college. I'd do the same for game/software design and animation too. |

I understand video editing, but needing a XEON!? You can creep very near to that performance with a modern i7 for 30% of the price. I would fully expect Apple to rape the price tag up by an extra $1k more than the Xeon is worth just because they know sheep will buy it. |

Maybe it's just me, but iOS 7 looks like it's borrowed a fair amount of it's UI style from Android. Not that I care, I just find it interesting. Aside from that, most of the main screens just look like shinier iOS 6 screens. |

Yeah I just see android. Not that it's completely bad, I mean Android weren't the first to do such a UI on a computer screen and they won't be the last, it's just because they're both smartphones that I make the comparison. I didn't mind the look of simplicity of iOS anyway. It's simple and sticks to the point. I don't care for apple as mobile phones but iOS for tablets is great. Shame about the cnuts that provide "support". |

Really? I like to think that Windows Phone 7 would've been a more appropriate comparison. Basically if Tony Stark were to be put in charge of its design. Also, posted my (evolving) thoughts on the conference here: http://wakachamo.no-ip.org/blog/2013/06/wwdc13/ |
