I got bum-rushed by four at once with only a hunting rifle when I went in there. I had Veronica with me, and of course she got taken out in one hit. Took almost two minutes to kill 'em all, and most of that consisted of me running and screaming for my mommy.

That canyon is a piece of piss if you have an anti-materiel rifle and some incendiary rounds, and preferably maxed gun skills. Mind you, you're talking to someone who ran like fuck and stood atop the crane thing in the centre, placing mines at intervals up the slopes, and just waited...
