Pie had a fantastic idea for an XNA (is that right?) game.... 32 or so players, controlling a Double Dragon-esque character, on a multi tiered level, and each one just braying the crap out of each other, be it one on one or teaming up (one grabs another character, while a third kicks them in the nuts).

Just sheer epic fisticuffs.

I'd have bought a 360 just for that.

I'm more impressed at not what the PS3 can do, but what I can do with the PS3. Sure, the 360 is the better gamers' machine (yes Seb you can quote me on that ) but I like tinkering and fiddling and messing around with stuff, and the PS3 lets me do that easier than the 360 does. For me, the PS3 is spot on, and I'm happy with it. Some other PS3 owners aren't. It just the way things go.

Well since we are allowed to talk about what will be coming in the future, I'd say PS3 is better. It will have equal multiplayer/online capabilities for free and will be much more enjoyable with HOME and it won't need community games cause we'll have virtual arcades in HOME.

Agreed, but its a shame that HOME will only allow you play games (like pool and bowling) with your fellow countrymen and not with overseas friends.

PS3 is slowly catching up, but even the tortoise beat the hare....

Anybody on here that is trying to make community games out to be a bad thing, needs to rethink it. Community games, cost $100 subscription for the developer to make and host online, that's a pittance. If the game is good enough, a fee like the arcade can be placed on the title. We are going to see some incredible stuff coming out of it. Great concepts, and truly unique ideas. I'm personally excited for it. Think of all the developers who can't get a dev kit, but have that great idea. Well now, they can make it and we can experience it. It's also a potential grounds for job opportunities for young game devs. Make a good enough game, you just might catch someones attention. I am quite likely the most excited person here about LBP, but frankly, we are talking about two totally different things. Both awesome, in their own way, on a different scale.

Overall, right now, 360 is the better games machine. PS3 however, is the better bang for buck. Seeing as how you already have a 360 tho, the 360 is the better bang for the buck. Honestly, if you have an HDTV, and you care about HD movies, then buy a PS3, if for no other reason but to support Blu-ray, and pick up some exclusive titles along the way. However, if blu-ray is a non-issue for you, then fuck it. Most of the same games come out on the two systems anyways.

In the end you have to decide, if the exclusives are enough to warrant the purchase. I say down the road, the 360 and PS3 are going to be neck and neck in most, if not all aspects, so neither is necessarily better. It simply depends on your uses.
