There's a theater like that in Kannapolis, not terribly far from where I live, called the Gem Theater. I'm not sure how old that one is, but it's certainly no spring chicken. It's at least fifty years old. They still have signs (now stacked in a corner by the stairs leading to the balcony) that say "Black seating in the balcony".
