Which system is better.(I want the truth no trolling or spamming ps3! or 360! And you need a good reason to back up your vote.)

I changed my vote to the one that got edited in. I might be getting a ps3 with warhawk for Christmas and the ps3 is getting a lot more games that are good like MAG. The 360 has halo 3, forza, and could play the old xbox games that suit me and all that jazz, The 360 may be great and I love it to death but I am getting bored of it. I need something new and fresh! The online my be the best out there because you are paying for it and a lot of my friends have it but the ps3 Has blu-ray, little bit better graphics, free online, WARHAWK, Blokeh, a nice hard drive (not like my 360 with only 10GB and for the 120GB you have to pay $120 and it is not worth it.) The ps3 could surf the web and do all that mumbo jumbo stuff blokeh said. So I am now in the middle.

I think the 360 is better for the following reasons.
1. Best online play.
2. Best game library.
3. Gears of War and Halo (lol)

A thing people forget with 360 is Xbox Live Community Games. Once that launches, that means everyone will be able to create games using the stellar XNA tool. This will basically flood the 360's library with tons of hobby made titles. Most will probably suck, but there's no doubt there'll be more than a few gems hiding in there too. This is something no console has had before. Inb4 blokeh's ugly black ps1 thingy.

Then there's simply the best game lineup, the best controller, best online (though paid D: ).

Okay, look, depending on what things you like, and what you enjoy doing, one system will be better for you.

If online play is more important than single player, and you enjoy being rewarded for performing certain feats, and that's that, then the 360 with its well-built online and achievements is the machine for you.

If, aside from gaming, you enjoy watching movies, possibly even creating your own mods and custom designs, and you enjoy playing multiplayer but not as much as sitting down for a solo session, then the PS3 with its ability to have custom themes, BluRay playback, and an online system that is good, but not as good as XBL, is the machine for you.

Both systems have pros and cons, there is no clear "winner", as both have exclusives that the other doesn't have, features the other doesn't have, and essentially operate differently too.

Like no other game has a level editor?

That's exactly the point I was trying to make. Joe tried to argue that LBP is as good as Community Games, when it's just a level editor. CG is a whole library of games. A huge library, too. And other games in the past on the 360 had level editors. I don't claim Halo 3 was the first game ever with a level editor, was just the first example I could think of on the 360..

So what would you say when I tell you that not only is there a level editor, but that you can then share said levels over PSN and, if you have enough "popularity points" or whatever, you can then offer them over the PSN store?

It's still one game. You can do those things in Halo 3 too, except you can't make people pay for them.

Yes, its still one game. The world pretty much associates the 360 to Halo 3 in the same way the PS3 will be associated to LBP, so what's the big fucking deal?

I guess that yes, having a community who not only play the games but also create them is indeed a win-win situation. Admittedly most of them will be Tetris/Frogger/Pacman clones, but so long as they're done right it shouldn't matter much.

Saying that though, I can't say I'm too big on the fan-made and player-made games. Depth is something VERY important to me, and I can't think of any fan-made game that has the depth I require. Others may be happy, but as usual, its a preference thing.

I sorta agree, but some games like Marble Blast Ultra, Hexic HD, Zuma, etc are surprisingly fun. Community Games will probably have games made by small game studios as well, with staff ranging from 1 to 10 persons or so.
