Lets spice some life into this part of the forum. So I just bought this mother fucker right here: Super Mario Bros 2 $19.40 not including shipping. Complete, box and instructions. I busted out the NES yesterday and I wanted to play some more games. This auction was ending in a few minutes so I said "eh why not". I put my budget at $20 before shipping and I somehow won this shit lol. Any of you guys bought anything retro lately? |

Me and Ax (and DesignationLocutus, not that he posts but I bet he will now just to make me out to be a liar) were in Leeds the other week looking for PS1 games, but didn't come up with anything. |

I wanted to actually own the NES cartridge, complete with box and instructions. I did the same with Kid Icarus, I found a copy in great condition complete with box and instructions for $20. For reference, this guy has a starting bid price at $50 with a Buy it Now at $75 http://www.ebay.com/itm/KID-ICARUS-Nint ... 43befaf42f If I didn't care about authenticity, I would have just downloaded a ROM. That pack you got on Amazon is digital only right? I need the real thing. |

Super Mario Bros 2 came in! Box is pretty beat up, but the game works flawlessly. I seen better looking boxes come in at around $40 bucks so I think it is alright. I am in the market for a SNES... I been in a retro mood lately. I might sell some PS2 shit that I have sitting around. |

I do. It started with Alien Trilogy in Cash Converters (it's a chain of modern pawn shops)o and when I got it home and played it on the PS3, FUCK ME it took me right back to when I got my Sega Saturn on release. Fucking loved my Saturn, loved Alien Trilogy. All the atmosphere came back, I was suddenly back in the 90's. When I went back to Yorkshire for a week recently I made an effort too have a look at what they had, I found the original Grand Theft Auto and Pandemonium 2. I'm on the lookout for Grand Theft Auto London as that's the only one in the series that I don't have (and the PSP/DS ones). In a shop when I was down there I found an FFVII (I loaned mine out and borrowed FFIX in return. I didn't wanna trade back so havn't mentioned it, as FFIX is a far better game) but they were selling it for £21. I thought "fuck that". |

That shit can bring in some nice coin on ebay. In other news, I bought myself a Sony Trinitron CRT. The flat panel one. Only cost me $15 on craigslist. All of my game looks nice on here. 27'. I now have two televisions in my room |
