Don't know if I should play this. Is this game better than FFX and FFX-2?

My PS2 died before I could play this, so I don't have personal experience with it. However, anything set in Ivalice is automatically 5x better than FFX by default.

I'm gonna be blunt here.

FF12 pisses all over FFX.

But you're too blinkered by Tidus's gay ass that you will just automatically reject the awesome that is Balthier, the sex that is Fran, and the best battle system that FF has ever seen - the Gambit system, which essentially allows you to program your characters to automatically fight how you want them to.

FF12 is awesome, but you will never know this.

Fair enough.

But yeah, for story and characters you can really connect with, get FF9.

For the best battle system ever created and the FF equivalent of Han Solo in the guise of Balthier (although the lead dude Vaan is a puss) then get FF12.

You can't go wrong with either.

In fact, play FF9 and write a blog about it, like Joe (kinda) did with Super Metroid. Write it here, keep updating it, cos its almost like you were born around the time it came out. :lol:

Srsly though, 9 and 12 are mint.

Actually, once you have the "King Of Jump Rope" item (for 1000 jumps), then you're good. But yeah, by Christ do you need those cards.
