Post subject:  Playing Persona 4 Again
Best game on the PS2 without a doubt. Holy fuck I love this game.

Seriously, I started another playthrough earlier this week and I'm already 34 hours in.

Looking for thegamecubist to get in here and give me some fusion tips for Persona of the Chariot arcana, as Chie totally loves my nuts and her S. Link is at max now.

Do Chariot Personas still kick massive ass in P4?
In P3, I kept Ara Mitama with me at all times until I was like, level 54.
When I fused him into Daisoujou.
Who is now also always with me.

I have no clue, actually. I don't think I've used a chariot Persona this whole time ('bout level 37).

Which is why I want thegamecubist to get his ass in here and tell me which badass motherfuckin' chariot persona to make right now, 'cause it'll have a massive exp boost upon fusion.

Sorry for being late, was out all weekend :) It's been a while since I played the game, but I'll try to give advice! I didn't really think I'd be good enough to offer advice lolz

When you can, Futsunushi isn't bad. Bad-ass physical persona with Arms Master, though personally I'm not a fan of the Firm Stance attack. Firm Stance halves all damage you take (phys or not) but you can't dodge; and I know I had my ass saved by some light/dark attacks by dodges, not by misses.

You can never really go wrong with Thor, either, though I think he's in the 60's in P4. I like my personas with a little more flexibility, and with him being elec/phys with skills like High Counter, Arms Master and Ma/Ziodyne, I love him <3 Fuck Thunder Reign though, such a waste of SP. I'd rather pump him up with a Power Charge if you could filter it through.

Kin-ki is good too! Vile Assault is one hell of an attack, Gigantic Fist also. I think it learns some of the stongest Physical attacks prior to the 70's when you can start getting crazy shit like Brave Blade. It only learns Seal Bomb though as a multi-physical hit, which kinda sucks. And, inately, Kin-ki is a single element persona.

Those were three major ones I remember using...I didn't use too many at lower levels cause I had Chie <3

I'm at level 37 right now, and I just made an Undine with Mazio, Maragion, and Mabufula. Made me smile.

My Sun S. Link is at lvl 9 right now, and I think I have 1 or 2 others at lvl 8. S. Link boosting my way to the top.

Also, got top score on exams.

Now to test out that Undine... :hmm:

Terra's persona's in P3 are seriously works of art. I can't imagine how long he sits down trying to get those ridiculous attacks...

That Undine sounds mighty handy though. She's also good on the healing :yes:

Typically, no more than 20 minutes. Longest I spent was on Thanatos, about 5 hours, trying to get Ziodyne, Die For Me!, Mudo Boost, and Megidola. Finally ragesettled for all of that sans Ziodyne. Then I realized that my Siegfried was in almost every way better than my Thanatos and I cried myself to sleep.

Did they buff Gigantic Fist's accuracy in P4? Junpei's literally hits about once every 10 times, and it has completely turned me off of the move. Made even more aggravating by the fact that it's all he uses on the Reaper if you set him to Full Assault, but if you leave him at Act Freely, he wastes his time with Medicines when Yukari's just gonna Mediarama the next turn, and if you set him to Knock Down, he just hits the thing with his sword. ;_;


I also have good experiences with Thor(and with Mjolnir <3), and recommend him once you get to the appropriate level. He still has one of the best offensive movesets of any of my Persona, only reason I don't still use him is that he...sorta stopped leveling up as fast as the enemies/I did.

I found that Gigantic Fist was more accurate in P4 than in P3, but then again, i never did the Reaper, whose evasion stats also affect accuracy. I was going to do a FES run afer my original run, but then P3P is coming soon, so I'm going to save him for that :)

My P3 run was alot less troubled than others. I found the AI party control to be damn near perfect. Then again, I did alot of the knockdowns myself, not relying on the AI to do knockdown attacks. But Akihiko would always buff when needed <3
