I browsed around for Nocturne in a few stores, even though I wasn't expecting to find it, just cause it's been a while since I thought "well gee, this game is hard."

Even battling the Reaper, I didn't think that, I just thought "Hm, guess I should level up some more."

I think the last game to make me call it hard was Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and even that was against the final boss.



Also, speaking of the Reaper, Akihiko's Ziodyne? 61 damage.

Power Charged Vorpal Blade with Great condition from my Siegfried? 251 damage.

I think it tore a hole in Tartarus. He's so badass. <3

Considering how hardcore you're going with P3, I don't think Nocturne will be a problem for you :) Nocturne has much more devious dungeons than P3 (not just by default - some of the puzzles were actually very tricky!), but I felt as if the tweaks in gameplay and the battle system didn't make it too much harder than P3.

I'm not going THAT hardcore, I just wanted to make a decent Susano-o, so that's what was with the Orpheus. I don't generally put so much effort into things.

But either way, Nocturne looks pretty neat-o, so I wanna try it.

Yes, in two levels, he will be resisting 6/9 attack types.

Took on the Reaper with this guy, got him down to like 1/4-1/3 of his health, fully healed party, and the douche Megidolaon'd and killed everyone except Junpei.

And Junpei has Siegfried's sword, which netted him an extra 100 HP.

The Reaper is an asshole.
