Being curious, a few weeks ago I made a pact that everyone in my circle of friends at the time would try ET for the Atari. Being the widely proclaimed "worst game ever", it made me and a few friends interested in seeing how bad it truly is. I just finally got the game and oh my god... I don't even... Walking takes away your life (which starts at OVER NINE THOUSANDNNNDD). Seriously. I start out with 9999 life... and walking drains it. I'm being chased by inspector gadget (and/or dick tracy), Ness, and the kid from the game Paperboy. I don't know what the fuck is goin on. I keep falling into pits no matter where I step. Even if I'm away from the pit texture, I fall in. So far, I've acquired 9 black dots (or pieces of a phone from what I'm told) and the letter C... Yes. The letter C. I looked at a logo which looked like a flaming Z, picked it up, and the letter C appeared at the top of the screen. Go figure. So I died several times and the kid brings me back (some freakin how). I got game over, that was it. Fuckit. I go left and end up where I was when I went right, I go right, then end up where I was when I went left.. Go up to change the pace? You'll only end up where you would be if you went right. This game is freakin odd. I guess getting curious isn't always the best. I did get a laugh out of it though... and I'm keeping it XD Anybody else put themselves through this? |

I definitely owned this game when it was new and I played it a lot. I doubt I hated it, although I couldn't say how that reflects on the game itself. |
