So I picked myself up a Nook HD+ 32GB for Father's day. They were having a ridiculous sale I couldn't pass up. Then I added a 64GB sd card. I have almost 30 movies in at least 720p, a couple hundred comic books, the last year of Playboys, and a few games loaded up and pretty pleased with my purchase.

Anyone have any recommendations for some good games from the Play Store? None of that facebook type crap. Real games, rpg or adventure that are fun to play and last a while.

Or, if anyone knows of a place where I can "purchase" some SNES/NES roms, I think the Play store has a few emulators. Anyone tried an emulator on a tablet with any decent results?

I have SNESdroid on my PlaystationPhone, which utilises the controls.perfectly. I hear good things about the on-screen controls too. As for ROMs, just google "snes roms", it really is that simple.

Kairosoft also make some addictive as shit games. Game Dev Diary, Dungeon Village, etc. All have demo versions, so you can try them out.

Kinectimals on Android is actually better than the Xbox game, and cheap as shit to boot.

Plague Inc is basically a more diverse and better structured version of Pandemic, and is incredibly infectious, if you'll see what I did there.

Osmos is fun for a while, but costs like $3 or something. Lazors is a fun puzzle game, free.

I really enjoyed Where's My Water and it's spinoffs. It's a puzzler but it's really decent.

I've been playing a game called Dead Ahead on the iPad which I'm sure will be out for Android. It's an endless rider but it's really good fucking fun.

Have them both, love them both. I'm looking for games that have an actual story though. Something to play when I have more than 10 minutes available.

Enix has some Final Fantasy games in the app market, but they're pricey.

there's a game for the iOS called StarCommand (again you'll have to check) that is similar to FTL and is a really decent campaign game. Manage your ship and its weapons and all the people etc.
