Ignoring the obvious irony, this fella was quite a large part of my younger days when the WWF was still called WWF and when wrestling was real (it WAS, damn you!).

I still remember watching The Undertaker arrive at Survivor Series way back when, and he was terrifying. Paul, name aside, added quite the air of mystery to him, until the whole Kane thing took off.

But yeah. Good times.

Sad. I only watched wrestling from '99 to '00. You know, where the shows were all about HHH and him winning. Saw some classic Macho Man and it was awesome.

I have a load of VHS tapes with stuff like Summerslam 88-92, Wrestlemania 4 (where Macho Man made history - look it up), Battle Royale At The Royal Albert Hall, several Royal Rumbles...

Good times.

Paul Bearer was mostly before my time, but he obviously contributed a lot to the wrestling industry. He will be missed.

I remember when my cousin and I used to be wrestling fans, and we pretended to do the after-match interviews. I was always Paul Bearer. Fucking loved him and Undertaker.
