I have a friend back in Texas, who's son's kindergarten class is doing a unit on the gingerbread man's stories. They think it'd be really neat to track where the gingerbread man is sighted after he runs away from the school (to add geography to the lesson). So, they're asking parents to have family/friends from out-of-town mail in a postcard about where they saw the gingerbread man. I think this sounds pretty neat!

Just a post card, its super cheap. I was thinking that if I could get some peeps from across the pond, and some locals too, to send some post cards it would really be kool for the youngsters!!
