So the Sharks possibly averted a loss by breaking up a 3-on-2 rush on their net - from the fucking bench.

Two things: First, this is the best use of waving red arrows in the history of waving red arrows. Second, let no one ever again claim the Sharks don't do what it takes to win. Ryane Clowe straight up cheats. Not since Wacky Races have I seen such dastardly behavior.
When asked about the play, Clowe responded, "I don't know what you're talking about."

I just don't understand how none of the officials saw this. I mean, you can never be too far away to spot a stick being extended over the rail. This is why the two-ref system was instituted, for God's sake.

Seriously, hockey is about as relevant to my interests as the artistic development of The Cheeky Girls is to Kerry King, but fuck me, if obvious cheating doesn't rustle my jimmies.

Also, funny how at the time he had no idea what anyone was talking about, and now its confirmed he'll get off scott-free he's all "yeah, I remember that...".

What a dick.

I hope he gets taken out in a really bad "accident" in his next game...

Oh, I'd be willing to bet that there will be people hunting for Clowe's head in games to come.

In other news, my Checkers are dangerously close to emulating their NHL affiliate and losing out on a playoff spot altogether. The way they've been playing the last few games, I'd say it's deserved, but I has a big sad nao.

Ok Ice Hockey people what can you tell me about Ralph Krueger.

He's just been announced as our new Chairman and I'm completely clueless on him.

Is he Chairman material? Is he likely to try and sell off our best players?

LOL IUNNO

But seriously, the only time he really spent here in the States was a couple years ago, when he coached the Oilers. The Oilers didn't go anywhere that year, so they fired his ass. On the other hand, the dude did really well in some Austrian league a long time ago, so...good luck?

Looks like he has zero experience in this sort of role then, bummer.

As long as our name doesn't get changed to Tigers or some shit...
