So on cable TV here we have a channel called Bravo (and its sister channel Bravo 2). You get all kinds of kickass shows on them, such as The A Team, Worlds Wildest Police Chases, TNA Wrestling and the odd kung fu/action movie.

With the release of Ninja Gaiden II, they've been showing a lot of kung fu movies, and been bigging up one called "Azumi" and its sequel, "Azumi 2". It looked pretty awesome, so me and Cas sat down to watch it.

It has just this minute finished, and all I can say is "...............".

I have NEVER, EVER, seen a kung fu movie this good. And I've seen a lot of them.

The story of a group of kids brought up to be assassins, one day Azumi and one of the group are kicked out for protecting innocent people (they weren't getting paid to do it, so shouldn't have done it). Going their own way, they continue the mission they set out to. Along the way both the assassins and Azumi meet several people out to stop them.

Cue lots and lots of swords, gallons of blood, and wireworks the likes you won't have seen since Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Seriously, this film just blew me away, and that takes some doing.
