You know who kicks ass? Sevendust. Lajon fucking Witherspoon is one of the best frontmen I have ever seen.

Any comparison between Creed and Alter Bridge is totally not cool.

Alter Bridge is such a monumental leap forward from the music Scott Stapp did with them. Myles Kennedy, is an incredible vocalist with fantastic range and an uncanny ability to harmonize with himself. Scott Stapp, was a one trick horse.

You are missing out BIG TIME, if you avoid their music based on your opinions of Creed.

And Mark Tremonti is not only ONE OF the best guitar players out there, he is also an amazing song writer, and can pitch in some pretty decent background vocals.

No, I have their debut album, and I've heard their singles on the radio. I can make such a comparison because it's only the vocals that have changed. I still don't care for either one.

Well, it is moreso true with the first album than the second. Alter Bridge, really isn't much like Creed anymore from any aspect IMO. But, that's cool. Obviously, you don't have to like them.

I will admit, though, they have distanced themselves from the Creed sound lately.

I didn't really know much about Alter Bridge before this post except that they did Edge from WWE's theme song.

Well, I finally listened to the album a few times and.... well, meh. First track was awesome and I hoped it would set the standard for the rest of the album, but then it just descended into Creed territory and just wallowed there.

Is this the same Alter Bridge I'm seeing this Saturday afternoon at the Download Festival?
