So who here is going to be getting the NEW 3DS XL? I am going to be going for the XL version but I don't like the colors they have out for it. So, when a blue color comes out I'll be picking it up. |

This legitimately makes me mad. Not just that they're releasing another slight tweak to force people into buying with new games that only play on it, but it also bothers me that they think NEW is acceptable as part of an actual product name who the fuck authorized this |

Nintendo is getting a lot of hate from people due to the fact that they aren't bringing the Regular NEW 3DS to the states. We are just getting the XL version and nobody knows why they did that. |

Regulars suck massive dick anyway. The XL models kill them I agree with Ross on the naming of the product, so stupid. I also don't like them changing the hardware specs part way through a gen. Console and handheld gaming isn't supposed to work like that. Now some 3ds games will not work in some 3ds systems which is a nightmare for consumers who don't have the new version. That said, I'm glad they are improving the 3d viewing angles and battery life. I'll take those upgrades all day, any day |

I never bought any of the revisions, I still have my regular 3DS. That said, I want the new one. Now seems like a great time to do it. The C-Stick had to eventually be integrated into the console. |

got it. got an xl one in blue, at first I was like "ugh where's a good red colour" but this blue is growing on me fast, it's a really nice shade. better than the pics make it out to be. it's really deep and rich. |

Okay I can safely say that I in no way regret dropping like £140 on this New 3DS XL, because it is a great machine, the 3d is legitimately stable, no lie, it's MUCH easier on the eyes, the screen is so much bigger it's like an entirely different console, the controls are responsive, the C-stick works great (though my only gripe is that if your fingers get clammy and sweaty during a particularly stressful monster hunt on MH4U you will barely be able to control it), and the actual unit isn't that heavy or uncomfortable to use for long periods. Definately a great purchase, definately worth the cash, definately worth trading in my OG 3ds for it. Also thanks to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate definately worth never being able to use my R4 card on it again :3 |
