Anyone else pick it up? I wasn't hype for A Link Between Worlds at all, but I was just kinda waiting on it. Picked it up yesterday and it's been pretty damn great so far. No more hand-holding, quicker progression, and the freedom to go wherever. I do miss that structure that ties the dungeons together in other games, and I do wish there was an entirely new overworld, but this is going pretty well so far. I'm mostly just exploring, picking up secrets, and doing whatever the hell, and the game's just moving forward. While I'd have liked the dungeons and such to feel a bit longer, and more... I guess over presented? They're still pretty inventive. Talk about Zelda: Go. |

Also, did you know that everything is slanted in the game? They did that so it would have the same look Link to the past had. I think that is pretty awesome. I might pick the game up but first I have Christmas gifts to get people. |

Necro post but I recently got this game on a Buy 1 get 1 Free special at Best Buy. Also got Kirby Triple Deluxe. I haven't played anything else except for A Link Between Worlds. I fucking love it. |

I like how FAST the game is. It keeps you on your toes and there are puzzles that make you go "hmmmmmm" and when you finally get it, the "AH HA" moment comes to life and you are happy that you solved it. 3D Zeldas are, IMO, very slow and predictable. This game plays really well and is fun. I like exploring for heart pieces, but that damn baseball game is a bitch. I can't get 100 rupees, most I got was 85. |

So I beat it. Got all heart pieces (fuck you baseball) Found all 100 Maimai and upgraded all items to Nice and got Spinning Attack upgrade Got the 4 Master Ores Found the 5 bottles Got the Hylian Shield, Blue and Red Tunics and Energy Gauge upgrade Was there anything else to get? |
