Meh.

I would have thought Nintendo would make a revision incorporating an second analog stick. Oh well. I think Nyko is making an attachment that gives both a second analog and enhanced battery.

Not sure about Nyko, but I know Nintendo are releasing one.

Why they didn't just build it in I'll nev-oh wait, yeah, I forgot, they love money, and people tend to throw theirs at Nintendo for all the extra little stupid add-ons...

Glad I just stuck with buying a normal 3DS, cause I don't have bear hands

I am disappointed in my hands now :(

I really don't see what was wrong with the original size...

Some people prefer a larger console. As for "enhanced battery" for the 3ds xl?

It's like... 1.5 hours extra.

the 3ds has like a 3-5 hour battery life. :|

Compared to the DSi XL's 16 hours or so max battery life.

I love how portable electronics these days can barely live away from a socket.

Gameboy Classic. Exactly the same. Required 4 of them, but my god that fucker lasted forever. even on rechargables.

Sega Game gear.

16 AA batteries.

Lucky if you got past the Sega splash screen.

It's true, I remember squeezing out 3-4 hours if I was lucky. It didn't matter if I was at home or riding in the car though, because I had my AC adapter.

Then one tragic day...it stopped charging. It wouldn't take a charge from the cord. I was forced to use $20 in batteries every day.

Got one of these because well.. I wanted to be able to see WTF was happening in my games.

It really does make the original 3DS look like a 3DSMini/Lite/future revised edition to make it smaller again.

Battery life wise feels .. decent. Not GB longevity but it certainly lasts a damn long session with the 3D off/sound on stereo instead of surround.

I like it a whole lot better than the original - can actually hold it without hands cramping up and the buttons feel like press-able buttons now.

3DS is godlike. If you don't have one you must not like games :(
