So we've got more rumors about the PSP2 being insanely powerful

I actually can't wait to see it, if only because I just heard a claim that it's as powerful as a PS3 and will have a cell phone.
Whoever said that is clearly crazy. Though it would be pretty fucking cool if they can match the PS3's graphics...

I will, however, still purchase the 3DS over the PSP2....

This just got me thinking... Why are consoles becoming more expensive during a recession? Well, yeah, I know why, but I predict a visible decrease in sales :\

I wouldn't say insanely powerful. After all, we still don't know what the processor in the 3DS is.

The full specs were released a little earlier this month, and I was actually talking about the PSP2.
There have been many ridiculous claims (as per usual).

I assumed you were comparing the psp2 to the 3ds, since that's what the article was doing.

Also, Im pretty sure no CPU information has been released for the 3ds, though the GPU has.

Ah, I wouldn't know. I'm not smart when it comes to technical stuff such as memory, CPU, GPU, and the list goes on.

There's an ARM in there as evident from leaked photos. Possibly you could also make out the model from the photos..

Waitwaitwait. 3DS costs more than the Greatest Console of All-Time (See: Dreamcast), yet it won't allow me to play for even a quarter of the time that I've been known to sit with a Dreamcast controller in my hand before recharging?

In all seriousness, the battery life doesn't bug me.

The price sure as fuck does though.

Battery life is 8+ hours with 3D and wifi turned off, btw.

Also, the charge cradle is included for a reason. It's supposed to encourage you to always recharge it so it's always 100% and fresh when you leave your home =)
