I got the game and then realised I can't for the life of me remember what the fuck happened in the first two games.

I'm playing through anyway and plan on finding the first two (somewhere at my parents' house) and playing them again at some point.

I wish I still had my original Golden Sun games. I lost those a long time ago.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. You're gonna be disappointed about where the game ends. Not necessarily with the game itself, just where they decide to end this game in order to set up the sequel.
