When I first started the game I played on expert then as I progressed in the game I had to move to hard because damn was it getting hard!
I have to say this game is a MUST get if your a guitar hero fan.

But GH3 was good!

Sure, it didn't LOOK good, but then again, no-one cares about graphics in the DDR games or the BeatMania games, so why should it matter in GH?

Also, listen to "Killing in the name of" on GH2. It is the most horrific version of the song I ever heard.

Also also, I can't imagine how hard it is going to be to play this game on the DS, with the quiet-as-a-mouse-fart speakers....

Well, you obviously aren't supposed to use the built-in speakers. Also, GH3 didn't just look awful, it played awfully as well. EWWWWWWWW.

Improved hammer-ons and pull-offs, better sounding audio streams, better menu navigation (ie, able to flit between careers without resetting)....

My only gripe was the godawful new "meters" and the lack of decent animation in the band members. I mean, even the older PS2 versions had moving fingers and hair that flowed in the breeze. It was bright and pretty, but my god, it needed some work.

But again, it sounded great, the controller was better than the old SG ones, and it had Iron Maiden, Metallica and Slayer on it, and so long as a game based on music sounds good, surely that's 95% great?

I dunno, I just love GH, and you're an old man now, so.... *fingers in ears* lalalalalalalalanotlisteninglalalalalala.

For a DS game, its not a bad number. More songs would require lower quality sounds, and no-one wants that.

This is a "might buy" for me.

GAME: Trade in two crappy games, get GH for free. I's gonna trade Rogue Agent and Lost in Blue.

It looks a bit stupid to me. Not so much the game, just the add on for the DS.

Might look stupid, but I can confirm it works like a charm. It's a lot of fun to play, and it feels surprisingly intuitive. You'd think it'd feel awkward, but it doesn't.
