Id rather have a DS and a PS3 than a DSi. Hell, Id rather have just a PS3 than a DSi.

PSP1000 - Big, bulky, low battery life.

PSP2000 - Slimmer, lighter, longer battery life, better screen.

I still have my DS Phatty and a PSP2000 (FFVII:CC edition) and Cassy still has her DS and PSP Phatties, and so long as they play the games, does it matter?

Depends. If you don't have a 360, a PS3 > DS, but if you already have a 360 I'd rather go with a DS. Would rather have a Lite than an i though.
