So I played this game for like 4 hours straight and let me tell you, it is ridiculously fun. The anti gravity adds a a great dynamic. It doesn't feel like a gimmick at all. One level reminds me of a F-Zero stage, this game is crack. I just wish Nintendo wasn't so lame with the online stuff when it comes to voice chat. It is restricted to friends, can't speak to strangers. |

There's a Wii U kiosk at my job, and they got MK8 there a while back. I only just played it a few days ago, and it's pretty nice. From what I've played, and the extensive amount of streams I've been watching, my preference still leans in favor of Sanic Transformed. Not to say that MK8 isn't fun, I really love the way the bikes handle. I want to nab a Wii U later this year, so I'll probably be picking this up at some point. |

Mario Kart 8 sold 1.2 million copies its first weekend. In the UK, Wii U sales shot up 666% because of this game with 82% of Wii U sold being the Mario Kart 8 bundles. Also, Luigi is mah nigga |

Been playing this for the past few days, I'd love to have a race with a few people here. While I'm not exactly gripped, it's easily my second favorite Mario Kart (behind DS). You can tell that a lot of effort and heart went into the music and track design. |
