As much as I love Bayonetta, I just can't get excited for a console where the more expensive model has half the storage space of my Zune.

I most definitely won't get one until there's at least a price drop. Maybe even a hardware revision since we know that'll happen at some point.

Normally I don't care if things are exclusive, since I have at least some interest in getting that console, but as it stands right now, I have no drive for a Wii U.

I still haven't got a 3DS. That has games that I want.

I haven't got a Vita. That has games that I want.

I think I've reached a point where I'm content to just wait until things really drop, since I have so many games that I'm more than happy to play for at least another year (RB3, BF3, P4:A, The original Bayonetta)

I love how some guys are like "WTF STUPIDEST DECISION EVERRRRRRRR"...did these guys not hear of business deals before? Or has the new gen forgot the real story behind FFVII or Halo?

See, I don't think it's necessarily a stupid decision, because I'm sure the money's there. Whether the sales will be there on the level they were with the XBOX 360 and PS3 (which was broken for awhile) versions remains to be seen, but I'm sure it was worth their while.

I just completely hope that they don't force in some stupid tablet shit. I'll cry like a little girl if that happens. Use it to quick-switch weapons or select a healing item? Sure.

Also, the only game that I can think of that would work REALLY WELL with the tablet, is Fallout 3/NV. C'mon, that thing IS a motherfucking Pip-Boy.

If that happens, I want a Pip-Boy peripheral that I can wear on my arm. Otherwise, don't even bother.

A purchase of a WiiU will depend on a couple of things for me.

Price. Obviously.
The amount of serious games released.
The quality of the console compared to current gen (yes, graphics included. Suck my sick if you thing graphics mean absolutely nothing)
The input system for games (not being forced to use the fucking pad when it's not necessary)
The online content ecosystem.

See, I was worried about storage, but what you guys don't see is that it has the best storage of any console. You can use external storage. As in, an external USB HDD, of your choice.

I used one of those for 2 years at my job with the Starbucks disto/roasting plant.

Shit was way more convenient than handheld scanners, but it was before FO3, so I never made the connection really.

Imagine, WiiUPad + the 360 looking thing for Fallout.

Fallout 4 will include a strap so you can have your Wii U Pad on your arm and play the game via the controller. Shit would be godlike.
