There were no questions on specific games, just things like, So can I take the pad in a different room and play just using the pad, and Miyamoto would respond with something like, It's not really meant for that, but check it out, you can browse the internet.

So one, he didn't answer the question, and 2, he went back to talking about the non gaming functions of the device. He did this with multiple questions.

So because the writer didn't ask questions about specific games, Nintendo is no longer focused on making games. Okay, I get it now. Thanks for clearing that up.

but he did ask gaming related questions that were brushed off so Miyamoto could talk about the instant access it gives to the ADD people.

Here's my beef and why I agree with fanboy. My problem with Ninty is just like who the fuck cares about a web browser? There's no need to waste an interview asking questions about it. If there's a browser on Wii U - great. Do I wanna know how to browse the web? No. I've been doing that for the past 10 years Nintendo, I don't wanna know your cool plans of how I can do it on the controller or anything. I wanna know about games and other features not something as meh as a browser, it's there, cool, move along.

I've been watching DVDs for 10 years, but you seem to think that's a huge-ass deal of a feature...

At no point did I say a DVD feature should be bragged about I said it should be there, no question asked. Much like a web browser should be but you can't seem to follow what I'm saying here, bud.

If ya still don't get is these are basic bare bone features that should be on any system not shit to brag about.

Care to copypasta some of those "brushed-off questions", cos all I read was an in-depth interview/article on the possibilities on the pad...

To answer whoever's question it was, my hate for Nintendo stems from how much I used to love them. From NES to Gamecube it was nothing but quality systems with quality games. With the Wii, all they seemed to care about was how much hardware they could get me to buy, and I'm not gonna lie, they got me to buy a lot of it. But even years after the systems release, rather than try to bring out innovative games they slap me with more hardware and ooh, different colored hardware.

Twas my question. Also, I seem to remember you ripping apart Mario 64 and such... Though I might actually have you confused with someone else. Ah well.

Anyway, I can see what you mean. Though, thinking back, I'm pretty sure that Nintendo, among many other companies, released a fair amount of useless peripherals for the NES. That's mildly relevant, but I'm not going to focus on it.

To be fair, Nintendo's always been about new experiences, and they decided to take it outside of the game with the Wii. I'm pretty glad that they're doing that, if only because they didn't let the Virtual Boy's failure stop them from trying new things. The Wii has a fair amount of great games, but I can easily see why certain motion control flaws may get in the way of them. There ARE ways in which the games can be improved, but it seems that Nintendo is the only one who takes full advantage of their own hardware (which is their own fault, but I digress).

I will agree with you on the hardware front though. Nintendo needs to stop making so many iterations of their handhelds, and they need to stop giving the green-light to so many peripherals. I can understand that the games may be fun, but having a shitton of useless, plastic, paper weights around the house isn't cool... This was taught to us by Guitar Hero games.

Could you take this master controller into a bedroom and play from there, I asked.

"Without going into the whether or not it is physically possible to use the device throughout your house, the device is designed for you to have your Wii U controller and television in the same room

That cradle will presumably charge the controller as well, though Miyamoto declined to go into specifics about the battery or the life a single charge will net you.

"You should be able to play with it for the period of time you would need for something like an action game," he said by way of answering my question.

At that point the writer makes this statement

This is a device that Miyamoto seemed more interested in discussing in terms of how it will be used outside of gaming.

Which leads me to believe he just gave up asking questions about how it will be used with games.

The problem is he was asking retarded questions about battery life on an unfinished product that will probably have better battery life by the time it launched in over a fucking year.

He wasn't asking about games.

He asked can I use it throughout the house. Miyamoto answered by saying it's supposed to be used in the same room as the TV/with the console. Seems like a good enough answer to me.

"Can I wear these pants on my head?"

"Sure, but it might not work right."

That's basically what happened right there.
