The reason Ninty gets bashed so much is because we all used to love them so much and now they are complete crap. We all miss the good ol' days and since Ninty won't give them back to us we take it out on them. So it's not stupid bashing, it's very focused purposeful bashing.

Being complete crap is all in the eye of the beholder.

Like Transformers 2 movie. People love it for what it is, awesome visual effects, giant fighting robots and splosions everwhere. Mean while, fans of the original Transformers hate it because the story sucked, the writing was lame and it was nothing but BLAH BLAM SPOLSIONS.

All I am saying is that if you are not going to say anything remotely productive, then keep your mouth shut. I am all for criticism, I know that Nintendos decisions are sometimes strange, but no company is innocent. When it comes to bashing, that gets old real quick. I can go on a huge rant on how MAG, Halo, and Call of Duty are pieces of shit in their respective threads, but it does nothing for the conversation in the thread.

It was never about praising though. I would equally find it annoying of I read that "Hur durp x is best game ever" on every single thread. It leads no where except to one group agreeing and the other group bashing the person who said it.

If I could, I would keep saying how good Super Mario World is day after day but I dont do that. As much as Blokey loves FF4, he doesnt go around putting FF4 in every single thread. Thread derailment, if I recall, is another rule. We saw that Blokey likes Bulletstorm and he made its own thread for it. Thats fine, but I would find it annoying if he tries to ram that game down my throat on every other,thread. At the same time, it would be douchy for me to say "LOL CALL OF DUTY IS BETTER" in that thread when clearly it adds nothing to the thread.

I will admit, maybe I am blowing this thing out of proportion. It just gets annoying over time to read some of these things. Theres a reason why I dont poke my head into threads that dont appeal to me, I dont belong there.

I thought the one or two posts saying "if you have nothing positive to say, don't say it" would have been enough. I stopped posting because I have nothing left to say about it, and if you have nothing left to contribute please don't post anymore. Unless you are going to talk about the Wii-U or it's pad, please make a thread somewhere else about how you are upset with Nintendo on this matter. Not here.

To be fair, the thread IS about how fail it is that the Wii U will only support one, but it should be more about this failure and not Nintendos failure in general.

Also, I saw Suga post the word "FF4" and I was all then realised he was actually talking about me, then it felt a bit gay...

They'll implement that shit. Just look at the DS anyway. Not like you couldn't connect that in some way and use that - same amount of buttons etc. etc.

GBA to GC was cool but I always feel cheated with things like the Expansion Pak, Rumble Pak, there were all sorts of things you could slam in the bottom of the SNES/Nintendo Sixty FOOOOOOUUUUUURRRRRR/GC. Man even Sega did it back then (fuck that fucking DC memory card, I'm sorry - lets do this. This thread is bashing for the WiiU controller; lets fucking talk some DC memory card. I'm fucking butthurt. I never had one. Too young to really be buying my own one. Didn't even like the controller as it was without a big fat fucking hole in it telling me I can't save games....um, derailed).

At least now technology is quite synergistic. I imagine they can do something with handhelds without having to make you fork out around what? £70-£100/$100-$130 for a controller? when you could use your £150/$180 DS £220/WTFdidUGuysPay4 3DS?.
