This games looks amazing for the 3DS.

We also have the confirmation that the motion controls in the game can be used to maintain Snake’s balance as he walks across a bridge. There’s a “Photo-Camo” feature that allows you to change Snake’s camoflauge to a real-world texture by taking a photo with the built-in camera, but we’re not sure of this feature’s purpose.

I hope to god that is feature is true.

Not a huge MGS fan myself, but it doesn't look bad.

Konami just RE4'd the 3DS version...so many people were gonna get a 3DS just to play this game again.

What kind of company announces full HD remakes of the same game+MGS2+Peace Walker on 360 and PS3 when this game hasn't even come out yet?

You can get 3 games in HD for 60$ or a barely upgraded port of MGS3 for 40$ on the 3DS.

It's mind boggling.....

They promised this

Now we're getting this

Fuck you Konami.

Mind you the screen is not that big meaning the graphics will and should look a lot better.

3DS screenshots have always made games look bad, more often than good anyway.

Take OOT3D, for example. That game has looked horrid in many screenshots, and godly in others, not to mention all of the other 'in between' shots. In motion, however, that game looks quite nice.

I'm waiting to see a more recent 'in motion' video of this game in particular before I judge it.
To be honest that screenshot posted above doesn't look too shabby, imo.
The only thing that looks 'dated' would be the way his head is shaped. The back of his head seems to have a really sharp edge that shouldn't be there. Other than that, the lighting effects and model detail seem alright. I couldn't care less about jaggies and odd landscape shapes.

Also, you should consider a few things about that video Tosky posted from the E310 trailer.

-Those seem more like cutscenes than gameplay to me. Really.

-There's no way they had the whole game done. So even if that WAS gameplay, they might've had to lower the graphic settings as they crammed more and more of the game into the poor cartridge.

That's my two cents
