Nintendo have a knack for cutesy cartoony adverts for their games, but seem to have had a look around the competition for their latest trailer for Metroid: Other M. Rather than fast music and an announcer that sounds just a little to excited about the game, this one features slow, moody music, Samus parading around in her Zero Suit, and slo-mo carnage unfolding around her.

It most likely won't appeal to the younger gamers, but those looking for a more grown-up experience should be captivated from the get-go.

I had watched it earlier today on GoNintendo.

While I don't think this commercial is anything showstopping, I actually liked it a bit. It's a shame I can't pick this game up at launch.

Yeah, you can't go wrong with the sexy Samus walk.

Loved the trailer. It was pieced together beautifully. The "Past is prologue" line is pretty awesome, and the music is astounding. Hope that makes it into the game somehow.
