Even with everyone defending the Wii, nobody here will really give a shit. Pretty much those that care a tiny bit either has it already, or sold it.

yet it stays at £200 in the UK, that's the same as a 360 elite and £50 cheaper than the PS3.

I get your point, however..
I tried the wii. I bought it day one. I even had it pre-ordered.

If we could go wayyyy back and dig up my old posts from e3 when the wii was announced, we'd see how I bitched about the controller design. I decided to just go with it. Maybe Nintendo had something. After all, this is Nintendo. What I discovered is that the wiimote is no substitute for a legitimate, 2-handed controller. It's a cool idea, and I suppose it's fun in some aspects (wii sports for a week or so), but it can't even come close in terms of any other game I've played on the PS3 or 360. Hell, I played much better games on the GC, PS2, and Xbox.

I honestly feel like Nintendo has said "Hey guys. Thanks for buying our stuff over the years. You've obviously enjoyed it...but it's time we started making games for little kids and old people who don't have good enough motor skills to use just their fingers."

The only game exceptions I would make for the wii are brawl and mario galaxy (using the "classic" controller of course).

On a side note, if anyone can dish up some statistics on how often people actually play their wii, Id let you buttsecks me.

yes they are, but I doubt the 1700% increase was an overall number. I'm guessing it was just 1700% more than the week or month before. So again, 1700% of 0 is...?
