Wii System Codes should be codes translated into the games to escape more numbers!!

Even if this is only for guitar hero 5, this is awesome and it also opens up the possibility for more games to use this.
Along with Wii-DS connectivity and a new graphics engine for GH5. The wii version slowly gets better and better.

I am so glad to see third parties pushing to bring the wii to its fullest and make the games as good as possible.

Anyways, is anybody else going to get this for the Wii? Mii freestyle and the music studio both return better than ever. I loved using the both of those. Hell, I even downloaded a custom made AVGN theme song. It was easy but so fun to sing along with.
I also am hoping that they fixed the singing mechanics... The singing in GH4, Metallica, etc. Were just really horrible.

^No, they're all still pissed about them trying to hinder the release of Brutal Legend. Although I am still pissed as well, they're still a bunch of little girls and the release of Brutal Legend still stands as of now. Granted, I'm not as mad as many other people on the site (put down the pitchforks guys, just because one more group of people on earth are whiney babies again. it doesn't call for another riot), I still have a grain of respect left of Activision for introducing SOMETHING good to the new slew of guitar hero games.
Metallica - Expert +. Metallifacts. Best GH next to only GH2. That's sayin something. I'm glad it wasn't just DLC. They also would have to put lots of effort getting the Metallica models and costumes into the game . Yeah as in a downloadable patch, they have 80s costumes as well as Zombie. In the 80s costumes.. Rob is wearin a Gas Station uniform lewlz
Smash Hits - Why have it as DLC when you wouldn't have Expert + for this decent collection of songs.. I was a bit disappointed that this and Metallica were only 48 songs apiece though ):
Band Hero - A selection of more family friendly songs and such.. This way our GH5 setlist doesn't seem so full of shit like GH4's did. (Though I still liked GH4 for it's DLC selection. I've downloaded around 12 solid songs and there's still more. On top of the 7 or 8 songs from GHTunes. There's also the many songs on the main setlist I like... I just hate navigating through the crap.)
GH5 - Refer to above. I do recommend that you check out the New Features video at IGN as well to sum up why I actually want the game now. There's also a rumor floating about that Kurt Kobain is going to be available in-game. I like how Guitar Hero includes celebrities in their games, and how they also make the side games for bigger celebs.. I wish Ozzy had his own game though (I also hear they have Hendrix planned for a game. I'm unsure about that now though. Van Halen hasn't been advertised much but it's coming... WHY?? Yeah, GH Van Halen exists and is due by this years end)
DJ Hero - Not Rock-Related at all, so it's a new turn for the "Hero" series, if I may call it so.
What they basically did, is gave a bunch of rap artists a long list of songs available to their remixing.. Or they had bigger stars make their own beats. Although I have a huge hate for rap and whatever, some of it is bearable depending on when it was made.
It looks fun but I'm not buying. I do want to try it out so badly though

Even though I'm not buying Band Hero or Smash Hits OR DJ Hero. They all look good in their own right and have reasons not to be just DLC.

Activision can GTFO all together, raising the price of their game whilst saying the PS3 should have a price cut? haha. The whole Brutal Legend thing? Fucking morons. How many Guitar Hero games are gonna be released this year? Like 10? Dear god, they have to stop.

You obviously skipped my entire post. They add things that would require a game patch in order to make the fullest experience with the songs on the different discs, and besides, nobody's forcing you to buy them.
I don't see why people complain just because THEY wouldn't do that.

Milking a series doesn't always kill it. Band Hero is a diversion so they don't have to put as many crappy songs in GH5. GH - Van Halen is giving a band a game that truly deserves it. Having many tributes to the band and creating the characters and attempting to capture their concert experience, it all works out better than any DLC pack would. GH5 is the next in the series which has double the songs than all the other songs without a number after their name, along with a mess of new features.
GH Smash Hits was there to update some good songs from the past games to the full band experience. Expert+ is also added in this game, a feature not introduced until GH Metallica.
DJ Hero I don't count as a GH game. It does have the option of playing a guitar in exhibition... but still, the gameplay is completely different with the turntable.

It's not that they're milking the series etc. it's putting a new one out every god damn week, that's why I don't have any GH games, I can't keep up.

Just look at their releases and such, pick which set list you like best. Or just wait a while till the prices start to sink (if they ever do ).
I still don't get why people complain. Out of all the releases this year. I've only bought GH-Metallica. I skipped smash hits even though I want it quite a bit. Only other one I'm getting is GH5. MAYBE Van Halen if it's released. It's got like NO publicity, and its a shame because Van Halen deserves it a lot.

Besides, you'd have to be a fucking moron to think friend codes are a good idea. I can't think of a single Wii owner who loves entering those stupid fucking sixteen digit numbers just to play with a friend, let alone a PS3 or 360 owner.

Friend codes can be avoided easily if the developers weren't so lazy take a look at the mario kart channel.
