I think this thing has some serious Grade-A potential here. Here's a quote of mine from Kombo:

Quote:
That survival horror thing would be pretty beast. Even in games like Oblivion or Fallout, this could have some serious potential. For instance, whenever you're in stealth mode and you're trying to get that stealth critical and remain unnoticed. I don't know about you guys, but I can get pretty tense during those times. Your character could reflect that, start shaking a little bit, breathe a little faster, maybe even mess up the critical if you're real bad off. I know there's a couple of places in Fallout 3 where having something like this Vitality Sensor would seriously fuck with my stalking, like hunting Deathclaws in Deathclaw Sanctuary, place is creepy as fuck to begin with and Deathclaws are kinda hard to stalk when you're using a Power Fist under any circumstance.

Possibilities are endless, man.

Any more thoughts?*

*TO SEB AND OTHER XBOTS: I don't want any straight up bashing of the VS here, you guys have done enough of that. Also, don't go in depth on Project Natal and Milo, especially painting the VS in a negative light. Again, there's been enough of that. This is for constructive discussion, inasmuch as anything around here could be considered "constructive". :P

Thank you.

I think its primary use is to find out if you're going to die or not after playing Wii Fit for 12 hours straight.

I swear that everybody had the same idea for this.. I remember writing something like that a few days back...

It all does make sense. I'm just really interested in that thing [vitality sensor].
I was thinking about it and the question hit me..
What if it were to be used in a survival horror game like.
That thing feels how fast your heart is beating, and if it's faster than normal, it translates on screen.
How?
By your characters movements. If you're scared or jumpy, they can't hold the flashlight or any other objects without it being shaky. They walk a little bit slower and occasionally stumble on something.

Little quirks like that would immerse you into a game so much more, which is why I want to see what this is used for

still, either way. That thing's awesome.

What it could be used for: Survival Horror, FPS (how steady you hold your sniper), ect.

What it will be used for: Telling you you're over weight, having Mario do something to match your pulse, ect.

I said it before, I'm saying it again. I want to SEE N do something amazing with it. I don't want to hear them say they will, I want them to DO it god damn it. This could be such a cool accessory. DON'T FUCK IT UP NINTENDO!

Doing worse at stealth games because of a technology that notices your tenseness is fucking awesome. Quite possibly the best innovation this year.
