Assassin's Creed 2

Now being released for the Wii.
Motionplus hits the states in June. Creed comes out later. They'd be stupid not to use it. I'm sure Nintendo would let them if they haven't already. HOORAH. THE CLUNKY CONTROLS ARE GONE AND DONE WITH!

So long as it isn't as boring as the first one can be.... there's only so many minarets I can swan-dive off of before it loses its touch.

I'm good, thanks for asking tho. I'm sure there will be some gimmick that will ruin this game, as we've seen in the past Ubi tries a little to hard to implement the Wii's controls.

They took the rabbids out of the Rayman series. Be happy.
They said the next game won't involve rayman... They're gone now... lol
That being said, and this off topic, I hope the next rayman they crank out is a platformer.

Also, if ubisoft knows what they're doing (which they should, they made Prince of Persia games ... although the fourth one ruined the fighting style a bit, or so I hear) they won't royally screw over the Wii version with some gimmick. The Wii is finally getting a few quality games, let's not ruin the beginning of a good streak.

(I would include TMNT - Smash Up here, but we know absolutely nothing so this could possibly end up being bad, I hear they're trying their best not to make it look like a budget title, but we can never be too sure)... (Sure we know nothing about Assassins Creed 2, but there was a first one to guide itself by. lol... )

I might've missed a few, but you see my point. The Wii is finally getting more than one game a year that's worth getting (In my opinion anyways. At least they aren't shovelware)

Ass Creed sucked, I have strong faith so will this one. It's made by Ubisoft for fuck sake! They come up with a bland idea and rehash it multiple times to stretch it into a few hours of gameplay and then quickly package it and sell it. Just look at nearly all their next gen titles so far.

I'm interested. I'll say that much.

I would not consider this a confirmation though. Many don't consider Wii "current gen."

^And why wouldn't it be if a PSP is considered current gen? Mind you the PSP was also confirmed to be having a version of this game, so why not the Wii?

In an interview questioning whether the new game would see a release on the Wii, Ubi said, "We are developing the game for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and PSP." (or something to that effect)

Now, that doesn't deny a Wii version, but it also doesn't confirm it. From this statement, I'm guessing a spin-off.
